1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PiLimo website, requesting a ride, or making a payment through our platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. PiLimo is operated as part of the Leaci LLC family of ventures.

2. Description of Service

PiLimo provides an online platform through which users can request ground transportation services, including but not limited to Black SUV, XL Comfort, and Comfort vehicle options. Rides are booked through our website, priced automatically based on distance and estimated time, and confirmed once payment is processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

3. Booking, Pricing & Payment

Fares are calculated based on pickup and drop-off locations, estimated mileage, and estimated drive time, and are displayed to you before payment is collected. By clicking "Pay," you authorize PiLimo to charge the displayed fare, plus any tip you elect to add, to your selected payment method. All payments are processed securely by Stripe; PiLimo does not store your full payment card details.

Prices are estimates based on the addresses and route information provided and may vary from the final ride experience due to traffic, route changes, or other factors outside our control.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You may request a cancellation and refund by contacting us before the scheduled pickup time. Refund eligibility may depend on how close to the scheduled pickup time the cancellation request is made, and whether a driver has already been dispatched. PiLimo reserves the right to cancel a booking at its discretion, including for reasons such as driver unavailability, unsafe conditions, or inability to verify the rider's information, in which case a full refund will be issued.

5. Text Message & Communications Consent

By providing your phone number and booking a ride, you consent to receive text messages from PiLimo related to your booking, including payment confirmations, driver location updates, and ride status. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of non-essential messaging, though this may affect our ability to provide ride updates.

6. User Conduct

You agree to provide accurate pickup, drop-off, and contact information, to treat drivers with respect, and not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose. PiLimo reserves the right to refuse service to any user who violates these Terms or engages in abusive, fraudulent, or unsafe conduct.

7. Independent Contractor Drivers

Drivers providing transportation through PiLimo operate as independent contractors and are not employees of PiLimo, Leaci LLC, or any affiliated entity. PiLimo is not responsible for the independent actions, delays, or conduct of any third-party driver beyond what is required by applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PiLimo, Leaci LLC, and their affiliates, officers, and drivers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to delays, missed connections, or personal property loss, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. PiLimo does not guarantee that pricing, availability, or arrival estimates will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PiLimo, Leaci LLC, and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

11. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting PiLimo directly. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by a mutually agreed arbitration organization, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where eligible. You and PiLimo waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state in which PiLimo's leasing entity is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, except where superseded by applicable federal or local transportation regulations.

13. Changes to These Terms

PiLimo may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
